Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing cash transactions efficiently and securely.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service protocols.
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting for guests.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management while ensuring prompt service delivery.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving dishes at the bar or in the dining area, supporting banquet or catering events as required.
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced environments within the hospitality or food industry.
- Experience working in fine dining settings or high-volume restaurants with banquet or catering responsibilities.
- Skilled in food safety practices, food handling procedures, basic math for transactions, retail math for sales tracking, and cash management.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards related to beverage presentation, alcohol regulations, and bar management.
