We are looking for an experienced, upbeat, full-time stylist to join our upscale salon located in downtown Lombard. The salon is busy and well established and the earning potential is unlimited for someone who is willing to work hard and market themselves. Must be able to work full time. We are open 7 Days a week. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and preferences.
- Perform hair styling services including cuts, colors, and extensions while adhering to sanitation standards.
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
- Educate clients on hair care products and techniques, promoting retail sales.
- Mentor junior stylists and assist in front desk operations as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and service offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven customer service skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques and knowledge of current trends
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license
- Familiarity with sanitation practices and safety regulations
- Experience with hair extensions, color theory, and makeup application
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of salon software, particularly MINDBODY, is a plus
