Overview
We are seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee production during our 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm). You will be responsible for 3-4 employees while ensuring production goals, quality standards, food safety and employee safety are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside employees, solving problems, and taking ownership over warehouse operations.
Must be available to train on 1st shift (6am-2:30pm).
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members on 2nd shift, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards
- Maintain food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and enforce company policies and safety procedures
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
- Complete production paperwork and shift reports accurately
- Communicate production issues with 1st shift management
- Maintain inventory of packaging materials and production supplies during shift
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of manufacturing or food production supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and hold employees accountable
- Knowledge of GMP's, food safety, HACCP, and sanitation practices
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production equipment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
