What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- Instrumental Proficiency - Competency in at least one instrument (piano, guitar, voice, drums, bass, brass, woodwinds, strings)
- Music Theory Knowledge - Ability to explain concepts clearly to students ages 5-99
- Teaching Experience - Minimum 1 year preferred (natural teaching ability also valued)
- Professional Reliability - Punctual, committed to student success, flexible with evening/weekend availability
- Local Availability - Strongly preferred, with reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multi-Instrumental Proficiency - Competency in 2+ instruments
- Music degree or equivalent professional experience
- Performance/ensemble experience
- Knowledge of diverse musical genres and styles
- Experience with group instruction and ensemble coaching
