Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Production Popper / Caramel Production Specialist to join our production team.
This position is responsible for producing a predetermined amount of caramel-coated popcorn and other caramelized products each shift while maintaining strict quality standards and production schedules.
This is an independent production position. You will spend most of your shift working alone, so you must be organized, focused, and capable of managing your own time without constant supervision.

Responsibilities
- Produce scheduled quantities of caramel popcorn and other caramelized products each day.
- Operate commercial popcorn production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor cooking temperatures, timing, and product quality throughout production.
- Ensure every batch meets Mama Moore's quality and appearance standards.
- Package finished products for inventory.
- Maintain accurate production records and inventory counts.
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas daily.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and notify management of repairs when needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
- Meet daily production goals while minimizing waste.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of commercial food production or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how equipment operates and recognize when something isn't functioning properly.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, punctual, and consistent.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow recipes and production procedures exactly.
- Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks while maintaining high quality.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation.
