Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards
- Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while adhering to dietary restrictions
- Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for clients
Experience
- Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice support
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; additional training in HIPAA compliance and patient monitoring is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate support to clients with diverse needs
