We are looking for select talented individuals to join our team as our Robotics Coach. This coach will teach our Botbasics course and our Lego Spike Prime (First Lego League) course.

Coaches work to support a small group of kids in their individual robotics and coding journey, supervising students' progress on established projects. Coaches are the reason a student will come back and sign up for more classes and camps. Coaches will always be mindful of each student, making sure they are fully participating and are engaged.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Use the curriculum to teach and lead children in their lessons and projects
- Run trial and demo classes
- Come up with creative ideas that kids could implement in their projects
- Be able to respond to parent questions about child progress
- Maintain a high quality of team performance and job satisfaction
- Train new coaches as needed
- Help with Social Media Marketing and promote our center
Skills:
- Experience with Robotics, such as involvement in a Robotics team or club
- Background in at least one of the following fields: Robotics, First Lego League, Botbasics
- Experience working with kids in a camp, tutoring, child care, or after-school program Preferred
- Charisma and the ability to function independently
Requirements:
- In-person shifts Monday and/or Thursday 4-7pm, and/or Saturday 10am-2pm onsite at our Edison Location
- Must be available M-F 9 to 12pm and / or 1 to 4pm from July 6th to August end.
