Slate Street Cafe is hiring!
We are looking for a team member that has experience Serving and Bartending, and is willing to work weekend and night shifts. We are specifically looking for someone who has availability Wednesday-Saturday nights. The shifts will be split between serving and bartending so must have flexibility. Looking to hire immediately!
Here are some of our preferred skills:
- Previous experience in restaurants, with a focus on bartending and serving
- Proficiency in POS systems
-Knowledge of bar standards, spirits and common cocktails.
-Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Basic math skills and experience with cash handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with upselling and maximizing sales opportunities
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, hospitable demeanor
