We are looking for a residential designer/draftsperson to join our team. This individual would be customizing base plans to our customers specifications to produce working drawings for our construction team. Also responsible for producing interior and exterior details.

Job Responsibilities:
- Create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and construction details, using AutoCAD software.
- Modify and revise existing plans according to client specification and project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with our design team to ensure designs are executed accurately.
- Assist in the design and preparation of plans for new models and update existing models with an emphasis on value engineering.
- Complete draft revisions within a standard time frame.
- Prepare standard interior and exterior details.
- Update base plans with plan changes.
- Check all first drafts for completeness and accuracy.
- Provide technical support for other departments
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably in residential construction.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Experience with creating detailed construction documents and understanding of residential building codes and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work with precision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction processes and techniques, as well as experience with value engineering.
- Ability to interpret and incorporate topographical data into architectural designs.
- A passion for residential design and a commitment to helping clients build their dream homes.
