Job Overview
FlexForce is seeking an experienced Structural/Pipe Fitter to fabricate, fit, assemble, and install structural steel components and piping systems used in heavy industrial and marine equipment. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, perform layout work, and ensure assemblies meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
- Fit and assemble structural steel and piping components.
- Measure, mark, cut, and align materials to specifications.
- Use grinders, torches, hand tools, and power tools.
- Tack weld components when required (if qualified).
- Verify dimensions and maintain quality standards.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- 3+ years of structural or pipe fitting experience.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and isometric prints.
- Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must work well in a team environment.
Marine or heavy industrial experience is a plus
