Job Overview
This part-time driving position offers morning and afternoon hours, Monday through Friday. 3-5 years' experience required. A School Bus driver is in charge of providing safe transport for school aged children. Duties include, but are not limited to transporting children to and from school, obeying traffic laws, ensuring the safety of all students.

Responsibilities
- Must learn all routes in home terminal and will be required to drive all routes in home terminal.
- Must drive routes in other districts and for other terminals on an as needed basis.
- Responsible for providing safe, efficient on time services for ALL GO Riteway districts and communicate any time there are delays.
- Clock in and out via ADP or time slip with accurate check in and check out times.
- Be on time for scheduled shifts including some weekends and evening shifts when needed. Removal from traveling status if attendance is unreliable.
- Complies with Local, State, and D.O.T regulations to ensure the safety of customers, students, other drivers and of one’s self.
- Timely reporting of bus defects, student discipline, DPI’s, incidents, crashes or any information that is time sensitive.
- Ability to read turn by turn directions, maps, complete charter paperwork and complete on the same day of trip.
- Traveling School Bus Drivers are also subject to the same performance expectations and standards as other GO Riteway drivers and employees as defined in our Driver and Employee Handbooks.
- Traveling drivers who do not meet the above expectations, will be given notice that they are not fulfilling expectations. If they continue to fail to meet these expectations, it will result in loss of traveling employee status; and change in pay rate.
- Maintain a Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements
Qualifications
- Drivers must possess and maintain a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and have a good driving record.
- Drivers must be at least 23 years of age with a minimum of three years continued, valid licensed driving status.
- Drivers must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus (S*) and passenger endorsements (P*).
- Drivers must successfully pass a company sponsored Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, pre-employment drug test and background check. They must also meet Department of Transportation requirements.

Pay: $22.71 - $25.38 per hour
