POSITION OVERVIEW
The Multimedia Designer & Videographer is responsible for developing and executing creative solutions across multiple media channels for the Bowtech family of brands and products. This role is primarily focused on graphic and multimedia design while also serving as a secondary videography resource to support the Marketing team with filming, video editing, and production needs as required.
The ideal candidate is a versatile creative professional who combines strong graphic design expertise with practical videography and video editing capabilities. This individual will manage creative projects from concept through final delivery, maintain brand consistency across print and digital channels, oversee digital content across owned properties, and provide additional video production support for product launches, events, field shoots, social media, and other marketing initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop creative concepts and designs that align with brand standards and marketing objectives.
- Create graphics, logos, product artwork, packaging, catalogs, product slicks, presentations, sales materials, and event collateral.
- Develop digital assets for websites, e-commerce, advertisements, email campaigns, and social media.
- Manage creative projects from concept through final production and delivery.
- Maintain and apply brand standards and style guides across creative materials.
- Update website and digital content, including product pages, banners, announcements, promotions, and product information.
- Ensure time-sensitive creative and digital content is accurate and published on schedule.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Social Media, Product Marketing, and other internal teams on creative needs.
- Maintain organized creative files and digital assets.
VIDEOGRAPHY SUPPORT
As a secondary function, this role supports the lead Videographer / Content Producer when additional production capacity is needed.
- Capture professional video footage in studio and field environments.
- Support product launches, events, lifestyle shoots, social media content, and other marketing productions.
- Assist with cameras, lighting, audio, and production equipment.
- Edit short-form and supporting video content for social media, web, advertising, and internal use.
- Perform basic color correction, audio editing, motion graphics, and final exports.
- Organize and maintain video footage and production assets.
- Travel to events, field shoots, tournaments, dealer locations, and other productions as needed.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports and adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Maintains knowledge of design trends, multimedia technologies, and industry best practices.
- Responds to interdepartmental creative requests and works effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ensures creative assets are completed and delivered according to project deadlines.
- Assists with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of four (4) years of graphic design and videography experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects preferred.
- Experience operating professional or prosumer camera systems and working with lighting and audio equipment.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, photography, and visual design principles.
- Experience creating content across print, digital, web, social media, and video.
- Strong file organization and digital asset management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Mac and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and digital content management preferred.
- Knowledge of archery products and terminology, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to receive and incorporate feedback professionally.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed for video production.
- Portfolio demonstrating graphic design, digital, branding, and video work is required.
