We are looking for a Patient Care Representative (PCR) to be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional support and creating a warm and welcoming environment. Position Summary:
The Patient Care Representative ensures that every patient and community member entering our clinics has a positive experience. This role combines administrative excellence with outstanding patient service, maintaining our high standards for professionalism, accuracy, and communication. Open to all applicants, highly motivated for individuals in the Hamburg, Orchard Park, and Williamsville areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction and Customer Service:
- Greet all patients warmly and professionally, making them feel welcomed and valued
- Conduct phone interactions in a polite and professional manner to ensure all callers are clearly informed and assisted
- Communicate effectively with clinical team members
- Schedule patients by phone and in-person to support consistent attendance
Administrative Roles:
- Process patient payments accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile daily shifts, ensuring all transactions and records are precise
- Contact physician offices to obtain patient prescriptions and fact important information to physicians and insurance companies as needed
- Collaborate with the Billing and Call Center Teams to ensure the best patient care in Buffalo
Performance and Quality Standards:
- Understand and proactively resolve patient issues by contacting appropriate team members
- Maintain a goal of 90% patient attendance for scheduled appointments
- Consistently uphold the mission, purpose, and values of Buffalo Rehab Group in all interactions
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service environment strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with learning new software tools
- Positive attitude, empathy, and a commitment to exceptional patient service.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
