HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine Physician for a permanent, hospital-employed outpatient primary care opportunity in Southeast Alabama.
The health system is considering Internal Medicine physicians for two primary care openings: one immediate vacancy and one that can accommodate a physician completing residency in 2027. This is a fully outpatient position with no inpatient responsibilities.
The opportunity combines continuity-based adult medicine with a weekday schedule, advanced practice provider support, on-site diagnostics, and access to an established specialty network.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients
- Perform routine physical examinations and preventive screenings
- Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions
- Manage diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular risk, and other chronic illnesses
- Care for patients with multiple or medically complex conditions
- Develop individualized treatment and medication-management plans
- Review and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results
- Coordinate care with specialists and advanced practice providers
- Educate patients on disease prevention and long-term health management
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in applicable quality and patient-safety initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license
- Interest in continuity-based outpatient adult medicine
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Practicing physicians and 2027 residency graduates are encouraged to apply
- Independent authorization to work in the United States required
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated base salary of $295,000–$340,000 annually
