The Role
We are looking for a sharp, dependable, and welcoming Front of House Lead to take total ownership of our register, dining area, and guest experience. You will be responsible for everything that happens in the front—greeting guests, managing the POS, sharing our food story, and ensuring every customer leaves happy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking Ownership of the Front: Run the register, manage table turnover, keep the front-of-house organized, and handle everything customer-facing during your shift.
- Welcoming & Serving Guests: Be the main point of contact for our cafe—greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately at the POS, bringing food orders out to tables, and making everyone feel at home.
- Sharing Our Story: Confidently explain our clean menu standards (like our seed-oil-free philosophy and pasture-raised ingredients) to curious first-time visitors.
- Maintaining the Dining Area: Keep the counter area organized, clear and wipe tables promptly, restock supplies, and keep the front space immaculate.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years of customer-facing experience in a restaurant, cafe, or hospitality environment.
- Communication: Clear, fluent spoken English with a natural ability to connect with guests and answer questions comfortably.
- Attitude: Warm, positive, dependable, and genuinely customer-focused with a strong sense of initiative.
- Punctuality: Reliable, on-time, and comfortable in an active, fast-casual setting.
