Role Overview
We're hiring a Custodian to maintain sanitation and cleanliness throughout our facility and surrounding grounds. This is a hands-on role covering daily cleaning, restocking, grounds maintenance, and basic record-keeping — a great fit for a reliable, safety-conscious worker who takes pride in keeping a facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Clean the terminal using hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners to meet company standards
- Empty and clean trash cans daily across offices, restrooms, break rooms, and the building; restock restroom supplies
- Maintain grounds free of litter and debris; remove snow and ice from walkways and parking lots
- Support pest control operations and relocate or adjust office furniture as needed
- Maintain logs of equipment repairs and prepare required labor and equipment reports; report safety concerns to the shift supervisor and comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
Requirements
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Comfortable operating cleaning equipment (power scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums) and working outdoors in all weather
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach throughout the shift
- Basic reading, writing, and record-keeping skills for logs and reports
- Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS standards or willingness to learn; reliable and safety-conscious
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
