Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across various areas, including floors, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and other floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance.
- Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or hazards that need attention.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment effectively to ensure thorough sanitation of all designated areas.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects when needed, including specialized cleaning tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general commercial cleaning practices.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift materials when necessary.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
