UMCFOOD, a leader in providing meals under USDA’s Child Nutrition Programs, is seeking a KITCHEN LEADER that can move into the role of Assistant Director of Operations within the next 18 months.
We are looking for someone that loves people, can lead others, works hard, does not call off, is knowledgeable of food safety, has understanding of USDA’s Child Nutrition Programs (NSLP, CACFP, SFSP) and can fit well into our culture of a ministry.

‘We have a starting (base wage) that could be higher, especially if you come with significant experience already in the Child Nutrition arena. We offer 403b match (up to 3%), 50% employer paid single health insurance, paid time off, some holiday pay. We are a GREAT place to work.
We are looking for someone that can lead one of our existing kitchens, providing over 2000 meals daily to our partner agencies. The goal for this person would be to move in to the Assistant Director position when our current COO retires, and the current Assistant moves up to the COO position.
