Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate Nurse Practitioners to join CareNow Medical Group. In this vital role, you will provide advanced clinical care, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans across a variety of medical settings. Duties
- Perform comprehensive and focused medical evaluations for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, infections, and minor injuries
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, X-rays, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Prescribe medications and treatments according to state NP scope of practice
- Perform minor procedures such as:
- Laceration repair / suturing
- Incision and drainage
- Splinting / casting
- Wound care
- Foreign body removal
- Abscess treatment
- Provide urgent care, primary care, and preventive care services
- Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment plan, and follow-up care
- Document all encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with supervising physician when indicated
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic policies
- Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Experience
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of California
- Board certification
- DEA license and furnishing number
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years clinical experience preferred (urgent care, ER, family practice, or internal medicine).
