Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mazak Fiber Laser and/or Flow Water Jet Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art Mazak fiber laser cutting machines to produce precise metal components for various industrial applications. Your expertise in machine operation, programming, and quality control will ensure the efficient and accurate production of parts that meet strict specifications. Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate Mazak fiber tube laser machines to cut metal tubes and profiles according to detailed blueprints and technical specifications
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure precise fabrication
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of laser equipment to maintain high-quality output
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and quality standards
- Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper handling of industrial equipment and materials handling procedures
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line processes, fabrication tasks, and packaging operations as needed
Experience
- Proven experience operating Mazak fiber laser cutting machines or similar CNC laser equipment in a manufacturing or factory setting
- Strong background in CNC programming, CAM programming, and machine troubleshooting with Fanuc or equivalent controls
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Knowledge of industrial equipment safety standards, GD&T principles, and quality control procedures in manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with tools such as hand tools, welding equipment, press brake machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and fabrication machinery is highly desirable
- Prior warehouse or materials handling experience preferred for efficient workflow management
- Willingness to also help out in other areas such as: sawing, waterjet and tube bender

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
