Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move stock within the warehouse.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records.
- Prepare orders by picking, packing, and labeling products with precision to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines.
- Manage shipping & receiving activities by coordinating with carriers, verifying shipment details, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
- Stock shelves efficiently using proper techniques for inventory rotation and space optimization; maintain organized storage areas.
- Assist in packaging products securely for international trade shipments while adhering to trade compliance standards.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by loading trucks, unloading incoming freight, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is highly preferred.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is advantageous.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (such as ERP or AS400) and RFID scanning technology (RF scanners) is a plus.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and calculating weights or dimensions.
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently when handling equipment like load & unload machinery.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order picking & packing accuracy.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and shipping logistics procedures is beneficial.
