The Intake Specialist is responsible for coordinating intake services, which includes assessing the appropriateness of applications for services and scheduling assessment appointments. This role serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking services, responding to all requests either by phone or walk-in.
Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM onsite in Northbrook, IL

Coordinate intake services and manage the intake process efficiently.

Assess the appropriateness of applications for services at The Josselyn Center.

Complete required intake forms and coordinate with the billing team.

Schedule assessment appointments for eligible individuals.

Respond promptly and professionally to all service requests via phone or walk-in.

Provide information about available services to individuals seeking assistance.

Inform individuals who are ineligible for services at The Josselyn Center about alternative resources or next steps.

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or other related subjects

Demonstrated fluency in English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing at a professional level; required

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to assess client needs and determine eligibility for services.

Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities.

Customer service orientation with a compassionate and professional demeanor.

Experience handling phone and in-person inquiries effectively.

Familiarity with The Josselyn Center’s services is a plus.
