Part-Time Staff Pharmacist
Duties:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, side effects, and precautions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements in the practice of pharmacy
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and regulations in the field of pharmacy
Qualifications:
-Experience in Independent Pharmacy
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Current pharmacist license in NC
- Ideally familiar with PioneerRx pharmacy system
- Proficiency in medical management, including drug interactions and contraindications
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Strong commitment to patient service and care
