Employee Health Clinic
- Graduate of an AMA approved and/or JRCERT and SACS accredited school of Radiologic Technology; ARRT eligible at a minimum
- Registered in Radiography by the ARRT, or become registered within 12 months of hire
- Demonstrates the appropriate skills and ability, based on the scope of practice or level of training, to assess, treat, and/or care for the patient based on their age
- Current CPR
Routine and acute patient care using ionizing radiation emitting devices in restricted areas of the NUC Clinic office. Exposure to blood and other body emesis-born pathogens. Proficient use of HIS/RIS, CR, PACS, and tele- radiology networking. Uses stationary radiographic and/or mobile fluoroscopic systems and/or dexa scanner. Assesses patient imaging needs for sequencing, equipment selection and settings, and scheduling. Performs at a level requiring minimal direct supervision. Primary patient contact is adult in nature with less than 10% being pediatric. As required, assumes responsibility for delegated areas within scope of training. Ability to work flexible hours in order to maintain adequate NUC Clinic staffing requirements to meet patient care needs is essential. Routinely works under/reports to Northern NUC Clinic Manager, and to the NRH Director of Imaging Services and NRH Imaging Coordinator for matters directly relating to x-ray procedure performance including but not limited to technical considerations and the like. Additionally, upon completion of training and verification of competency, provides Medical Assistance tasks within the NUC clinic setting, with rotating weekend(s) and holiday(s) in the NUC Clinic office.
