Member Duties : You’ll cultivate a welcoming volunteer environment, providing support and training to retain volunteers and grow the program, enabling Oshkosh to build mores homes. 1) VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT: Increase Habitat’s community of volunteers, focusing on construction volunteers but coordinating with the ReStore VISTA as needed. Develop a recruitment plan, with specific strategies for recruiting Core Volunteers. Provide support as needed with scheduling. 2) VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT: Foster a positive volunteer experience, increasing retention and community support for Habitat’s work and mission. Review training curriculum, volunteer appreciation, and data collection; make updates where needed. Develop a definition and guidelines for Core Volunteers.
