In-Home Caregiver / Personal Assistant for Disabled Adult Physician Living Next to Irvine Spectrum – Ideal for CNAs Seeking a Non-Institutional Job
Are you looking for meaningful, full-time work helping an independent adult with a disability? I'm a 46-year-old quadriplegic female physician living next to Irvine Spectrum and currently taking a break from medical practice. I am hiring a small team of caregivers to assist with my personal care and other daily activities, including my career-related work. This is a stable W-2 job with paid training and an option for health insurance. It’s a great fit for physically strong, younger caregivers who want a full-time position with consistency and purpose.

Job Details:
- No Experience Necessary: Receive paid training when you start
- What You’ll Do: Provide hands-on assistance with personal care (i.e. bathing, dressing, bladder/bowel care routines, wheelchair transfers) and other daily activities (i.e. computer-based work, meal prep/eating, light housekeeping, driving)
- CNA/HHA License Preferred but Not Required: Receive comprehensive training specific to the client
- Hours: Averages 40 hours/week
- Pay: $22/hour after standard bonuses once you start a full-time position ($17-20/hour for flexible part-time paid training shifts before starting full-time position)
- Schedule: Work an even mix of daytime and overnight shifts, including some weekends and occasional holidays
- Employment/Benefits: W-2, paid training, paid sick leave, workers’ compensation insurance, medical/dental insurance after meeting work requirements
Requirements:
- Age 18+
- Physically strong/fit enough to complete bed-based care and two-person transfers for a 120lb client
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must live fairly close to Irvine Spectrum (< 30 min commute preferred)
- Must speak, read, and write English fluently
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and willing to get annual flu vaccine
- Willing to work some weekends and occasional holidays
- Kind, dependable, and a good team player
