We are a growing dental practice with two locations in Niles and Deerfield seeking a dependable and motivated Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role responsible for keeping the office running smoothly while creating a welcoming and professional experience for every patient.
What You’ll Do:
Our front desk team is the backbone of the practice. You will:
- Submit dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review claims for accuracy and ensure all required attachments, documentation, X-rays, and narratives are included.
- Understand insurance requirements and determine when additional documentation or narratives are needed to support a claim.
- Monitor outstanding insurance claims and perform timely follow-up to ensure claims are processed and paid.
- Maintain and work outstanding claims/aging reports to minimize delays in reimbursement.
- Post insurance payments accurately and reconcile payments as needed.
- Identify and address claim denials, requests for additional information, and other insurance-related issues.
- Communicate professionally with insurance companies regarding claim status, benefits, payments, and outstanding issues.
- Maintain accurate insurance records and documentation within the practice management system.
- Utilize Denticon practice management software for claim submission, payment posting, account management, and insurance follow-up.
- Assist with answering incoming phone calls and directing patients appropriately when not engaged in insurance-related responsibilities.
- Provide friendly, professional service to patients and team members.
- Assist the front office team with other administrative duties as needed.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
(1-hour lunch break)
