Pay: $16.00 per hour
Job Overview:
Join a dedicated team supporting the Oklahoma Health Care Authority’s Provider Engagement department as an Administrative Assistant I. In this vital role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth operations, manage high-volume document processing, and facilitate effective communication within the team. Your contributions will help maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance during a busy period of increased workload, making a meaningful difference in the delivery of healthcare services.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or vocational training in business or office practices is preferred.
- At least six months of administrative or clerical support experience, ideally in a professional office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical ability to remain seated for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform manual uploads of provider documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely entry into systems.
- Review and verify submitted forms, provider details, and supporting materials for accuracy.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records following agency procedures.
- Conduct outreach via phone and email to obtain missing or corrected provider information.
- Track and document outreach actions, responses, and follow-up requirements.
- Prepare routine and ad hoc reports summarizing upload progress and outreach outcomes.
- Respond to inquiries, prepare correspondence, and route information to team members.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent data handling and workflow adherence.
- Assist with scheduling, file organization, and project documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with agency policies.
- Support other administrative tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
