Detail-oriented and experienced Injection Molding Toolmaker with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining high-precision molds. Adept at interpreting complex blueprints, utilizing advanced machining techniques, and ensuring efficient mold functionality. Dedicated to delivering quality workmanship while meeting tight deadlines and adhering to strict standards.
Reports to:
VP Operations
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proficient in mold design, fabrication, and maintenance
- Advanced CNC machining, EDM and manual milling
- Skilled in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Mastercam
- Expertise in materials selection and heat treatment processes
- Strong understanding of injection molding machines and processes
- Precision measurement tools: micrometers, calipers, and CMM
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting of mold defects
- Safety and quality assurance adherence
- Oversee all maintenance for molds inside and outside of the company
- Maintain records for all maintenance and cleaning of all molds
- Operate inside of allotted budget
- Minimize long term maintenance expenses
- Identify and implement improvements in mold design
- Responsible for upholding the BRC Hygiene Standard and its focus on Product Safety
- Responsible for upholding all company environmental and energy initiatives and practices
- Uphold all compliance guidelines and responsibilities defined by the company
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- 7-10 Years of experience in mold building or fabrication
- Highly organized
- Computer skills in MS Excel and MS Word
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
