Duties

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and fryers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety standards
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food preparations
- Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service
- Assist with basic cleaning tasks such as sanitizing surfaces and disposing of waste to uphold hygiene standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or catering experience, is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production
- Strong knife skills with proper slicing techniques and familiarity with food preparation methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
