Metal Fabrication Division-1st Shift
Responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily in-process inspection audits, final product audits and maintenance of appropriate records.
- Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team. Issues Non-conforming Material Reports for internal and external issues as required, Monitors records for timely corrective action closures.
- Establishing quality standards and recommends any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
- Performs “First & Last Piece” part inspection and approval on production set-ups.
- Monitors in-process material status and ensures that nonconforming material is labeled and stored correctly.
- Responsible for completing other assignments as directed by immediate supervisor or manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Education or Equivalent.
- Computer skills, Excel Spreadsheets, Word.
- At least 1-2 years ‘of Quality experience in metal fabrication
- Attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and quality manuals
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability use quality measurement tools for checking parts.
