Responsibilities
- Draw blood (phlebotomy) and collect specimens as needed. (1-2 years experience)
- Accurately document patient encounters, history, exam findings, and provider notes in real-time
- Navigate the EMR system efficiently and assist with chart preparation
- Record vital signs and assist with in-office procedures (EKG placement, Holter monitor setup, etc.)
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally
- Support front desk tasks such as greeting patients, checking them in, and coordinating appointments
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all medical records
- Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain smooth patient flow
Requirements
- Ability to draw blood (phlebotomy skills required)
- Tech-savvy with strong computer and EMR navigation skills (required)
- Previous medical assistant and phlebotomy experience (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment
- Commitment to professionalism and patient-centered care

Position Overview
The Medical Assistant (MA) will work closely with physicians and staff to document patient visits, assist with charting in the EMR system, perform clinical duties, and provide front desk support. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, clinically skilled, and comfortable with both medical documentation and direct patient interaction.
