Irrigation Foreman
Oliphant Golf Management and OHG Construction, LLC is looking for an Irrigation Foreman to join our Golf Course Construction Division with work located in Vernon, FL. Pay is based on experience. Previous experience in irrigation installation and irrigation management for golf courses or landscapes is preferred, including proficient knowledge of golf course irrigation systems and the ability to read and understand irrigation-related drawings. Good work ethic, dependability and the ability to work well with others is a must, along with dependable transportation and ability to work weekends.
General Responsibilities:
Create daily schedules and operate within budgets efficiently.
Ensure project timelines are followed for irrigation system installations.
Coordinate orders and assure timely delivery of needed materials, including pipes, valves, and controllers.
Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and crew members on irrigation projects.
Read and interpret irrigation drawings to guide installation and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Golf or landscape knowledge preferred but not required.
Experience and knowledge of HDPE piping systems.
Requirements:
Prior experience as an irrigation foreman or equivalent role, with hands-on installation experience on golf course irrigation systems.
Excellent time management skills.
Expected to operate with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
Valid Driver's License.
Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
Strong work ethic.
Florida Irrigation Contractor License strongly encouraged.
