Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver
As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Columbus, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate with professionalism while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and help to verify entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with location procedures.

Report maintenance concerns, operational irregularities, and/or potential hazards observed during patrols to the appropriate contact and support follow-up communication as needed.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
