Summary
The Project Engineer position will support multiple Project Managers (PM) simultaneously by providing document management, scheduling, coordination and various other administartive tasks as necessary. The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting with multiple projects concurrently at various stages, and for reviewing different types of project reports daily. The position will also need to be able to effectively communicate with all levels of operational staff, internal departments, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers, and clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide administrative support to multiple project managers.
Manage materials and supplies for multiple jobsites by coordinating with Field Supervisors, Foreman and Project Admins.
Maintain accurate inventory for technology, specialty equipment/tools/hardware, lumber and all other supplies needed for jobsites.
Review and understand construction documents such as project plans, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and product specifications. Responsible for processing and submitting RFI’s and submittals for all projects.
Work with Project Managers to develop and execute material takeoffs, hardware lists, submittals, RFIs, and change order requets.
Coordinate safety training for all projects and review crane inspections.
All other duties as needed.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of Associates degree in related field or 2-4 years of related work experience.
General knowledge and understanding of construction documents.

Valid Driver’s License
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word Processing software. Knowledge of Sage 300 and PlanGrid preferred but not required.
Other Skills and Abilities
Data entry and Administrative Skills with a high-level of accuracy.
Adept to learning new software programs as required.
Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
Must have the ability to process information at a corporate level for multiple entities.
Ability to successfully work with business partners, clients, vendors and suppliers.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, Foreman and Field Admin.
Assist in monitoring, reviewing, and maintaining compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws as necessary.
Assist with the preparation, review, and distribution of all reports required by executive management.
Experience with running multiple tasks concurrently and prioritizing multiple tasks from multiple managers.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
