As a Life Insurance & Retirement Planning Representative, you will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial goals, conduct needs-based analyses, and provide customized solutions designed to help them achieve long-term financial security. Duties & Responsibilities
- Actively engage with prospective clients through networking, referrals, community outreach, virtual appointments, retail environments, and telemarketing campaigns.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses to identify appropriate life insurance, retirement planning, and wealth-building solutions.
- Present and explain financial products and strategies tailored to clients' goals, needs, and risk tolerance.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular follow-up, policy reviews, and ongoing financial education.
- Assist clients in understanding coverage options, retirement strategies, asset protection solutions, and wealth accumulation opportunities.
- Negotiate policy terms and coverage solutions while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry regulations.
- Manage administrative responsibilities, including processing applications, maintaining accurate client records, tracking leads, and updating CRM systems.
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to support client acquisition and engagement initiatives across multiple channels.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and guiding clients through the application and implementation process.
- Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and licensing education to enhance industry knowledge and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail sales, outside sales, financial services, or insurance sales preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial situations and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Experience with CRM systems, lead management platforms, and sales administration processes preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of life insurance, retirement planning, benefits administration, or related products is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of confidentiality and regulatory requirements related to financial services is beneficial.
