POSITION OVERVIEW:
The responsibilities consist of driving box trucks between staging areas and multiple greenhouses at Green Circle Growers. Coordinate and stage hardgoods supplies for production as well as packaging. Communicates often with management team on next jobs/task to ensure supplies are ready in advance.
QUALIFICATIONS and education requirements:

Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and cleanliness standards

Proven initiative and responsibility demonstrated through prior work experience

Team player with a positive attitude

2 + years of verifiable experience

Clean driving record

Previous experience with gathering inventory supplies for setting up assembly/production work cells a plus

Trained or ability to be trained as a tow motor operator

Ability to communicate with management team

Stay on task and able to work independently

Flexible with changing direction throughout the day

Good attendance is a must and able to work a little extra when necessary for prepping jobs for following day
JOB DUTIES:

Gather supplies in advance before starting a production work order or packaging
- Oversee the need for extra supplies during completion of jobs

Keep production and packaging area organized
-
Responsible for removal an organization of pallets

Empty cardboard and trash throughout the day

Stock soil room supplies as needed
-
Completed pallets of Packaging moved to dock and organized by load

Unload trailers as needed to help receiving

Box Truck, Tow motor and tug use daily

Proper disposal of inventory labels

All other duties as assigned
pHYSICAL Environment & Requirements:

Plant/Production facility, occasionally outside, or in-store; Possible extreme heat/cold dependent on season

Continuously requires ability to follow verbal and/or written direction
- Frequently requires walking, lifting (up to 50lbs), carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling (up to 200lbs), bending, and crouching
- Occasionally requires sitting, standing, fine dexterity, climbing and handling

May require ability to operate machinery, drive vehicles (truck, car, van, tug, forklift) or use equipment such as hand tools, computers, or general business equipment

CDL license or tug/forklift certification may be required
