The Spearfish Holiday Inn is hiring Front Desk Agents for weekday evening and/or weekend shifts. Join a fun, upbeat team where you will welcome travelers, solve problems, share local knowledge, and help make every guest's stay a great one!
What You'll Do
As the friendly face of our hotel, you will:
- Make room reservations and check guests in and out with a warm welcome.
- Issue room keys and discount cards, including replacement keys when technology decides to test everyone's patience.
- Answer guest questions and provide helpful information about Spearfish and the surrounding area.
- Protect guest confidentiality, safety, and security at all times.
- Understand bills, post charges, collect payments, and balance transactions accurately.
- Keep the front desk and lobby clean, neat, and welcoming.
- Wear the required uniform and name tag while looking polished and professional.
- Pitch in with other duties as needed to keep the hotel running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate is:
- Comfortable with computers and able to learn quickly.
- A strong communicator and attentive listener.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
- An excellent multitasker who can thrive in a busy work environment.
- Dependable, with reliable transportation.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Friendly, helpful, and ready to be part of a team that works hard and has fun doing it!
Previous hotel experience is helpful, but a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are what matter most. We will train the right person!
