Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team and ensure the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, manage repair procedures, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and reliability across all facility operations, fostering a proactive maintenance environment that minimizes downtime and maximizes operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and other facility equipment.
- Manage facilities maintenance teams by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training to ensure high standards of safety and quality.
- Oversee the use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and generate reports for management review.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by implementing safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and maintaining proper documentation.
- Oversee HVAC system repair and maintenance, including troubleshooting high voltage and low voltage electrical components.
- Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through execution while adhering to project management best practices.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems (including high voltage), and HVAC systems repair.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CMMS software for maintenance management.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial facilities and electrical work.
- Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to interpret schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Excellent team management skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate staff toward operational excellence.
