Location: Elkins Park PA and surrounding areas.

Duties
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
- Engage in light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Implement behavior management techniques for individuals with dementia or cognitive disabilities to ensure safety and comfort
- Follow safe patient lifting practices during transfers and manual handling to prevent injury for both clients and caregivers
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of ADLs assistance, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential
- Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities is advantageous
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required or obtainable upon hire
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout shifts
