As a Cabinet Finisher, you will be instrumental in ensuring our products are polished, painted, and assembled to the highest standards, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and company success.
Duties
- Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal paint and finish adhesion.
- Apply industrial and construction-grade paints, auto body repair techniques, or airless paint spraying equipment to achieve smooth, durable finishes.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other materials handling equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products efficiently within the workspace.
- Use precision measuring instruments and fabrication tools for detailed assembly, fitting, and finishing tasks.
- Conduct quality inspections utilizing basic math skills and precision measurement tools to verify that finishes meet strict specifications.
- Perform welding, machining, or auto painting processes as needed for custom finishing requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by handling materials properly and adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with manufacturing processes, especially in cabinetry or auto body repair environments.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and airless paint sprayers.
- Knowledge of forklift operation, crane handling, and warehouse safety protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, machining, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial painting methods including auto painting and construction painting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments accurately.
- Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.
