Food Prep/Sandwich Maker Position – Join the Mountain Roasting Company Team!
Mountain Roasting Company in Felton is growing and looking for a new memeber of the family. We are hiring for a new rotating shift that includes both opening and closing hours. Morning shifts start at 7:30 AM, and evening shifts wrap up around 4:00 PM—so if you're not a morning person, this role may not be the best fit!
We’re a friendly, local specialty coffee shop located in the Felton Fair Safeway Shopping Center. Established in 1991, Mountain Roasting has become a beloved community staple known for great coffee, tasty food, and a welcoming space for neighbors and groups to gather and music on Saturdays.
We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, competent food preparation sandwich maker with a positive attitude.
- 6 months of food experience required; 1 year preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, self-motivated approach.
- Reliability and punctuality—showing up on time matters and is a must!!!
- Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
- Must be 18 years or older.
What You’ll Do:
- You will help make sandwiches, serve bakery items, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, prep food for the day, keep inventory of the food items and upkeep back of house.
- Make different food items throughout the day for the food case
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional service.
- Handle payments and maintain cleanliness in food and drink areas.
- Complete side work and janitorial duties as needed.
- Help FOH when needed.
- Follow food safety guidelines (ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire)
