Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing high-quality interior and exterior finishing work on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform raw structures into polished, functional spaces that meet precise specifications. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry components according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Interpret construction plans and specifications to execute precise finishing details
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for woodworking, framing, and installation tasks
- Perform surface preparation including caulking, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration as needed
- Install fixtures such as hardware, lighting, and appliances with accuracy and care
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving materials or components into place on-site
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects adhere to design specifications and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, or related construction fields
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, metal stud framing equipment, and wood construction materials
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of construction plans
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, mold remediation, flooring installation, tile laying, door hanging, fixture installation, remodeling projects, and water damage restoration is highly desirable
- Knowledge of power tool safety protocols and proper handling of power tools for woodworking and construction tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly
- Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills
