Title: Mobile Mechanic - Fast paced & dynamic environment with opportunities for advancement!
Job Description: We are looking for an Experienced Mobile Mechanic who can perform mechanical work on heavy duty trucks, trailers, and dollies on the road or at a customer's location in the Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland markets.
What you will be doing:
- Traveling to various customer yards or breakdown sites to perform requested vehicle maintenance.
- Opportunity to work on unique vehicles such as fire trucks, tour buses, earth moving equipment, and more!
- Work with tools such as hydraulic jacks, air tools and heavy hand-held tools.
- Accurately diagnose problems and conduct repairs.
- Perform safety inspections
- Document services performed
Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday. Additional lucrative pay incentives available for after-hours work!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Operate a commercial service truck
- Must have your own basic tools for the job
- Possess a valid DOT medical card or be able to get one
- The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Acceptable pre-employment drug screening
- Must possess tools required to service commercial vehicles and trailers (some tools supplied)
Desired Qualifications:
- Safety conscious, respectful, honest, strong work ethic, and enjoys being part of a team
- Ability to operate and maintain tire equipment & machinery.
Pay Range: $34 - $45 an hour total compensation ($26 - $30/hour base + Industry leading Commission Program + Overtime)
