Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Tractor-Trailer Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to handle diverse cargo types will be vital to our success. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while complying with all logistics cargo handling protocols and safety standards.
- Navigate using GPS systems and plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations.
- Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods in accordance with Hazardous Materials Regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including load manifests, delivery logs, and compliance records.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT, FMCSA, truck driving, commercial driving, and hazardous materials regulations during every phase of operation.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tractor-trailer operation.
- Proven experience in truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation, preferably with route driving experience.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, and automobile transportation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of manual transmission operation and manual handling techniques for cargo loading/unloading.
- Ability to operate GPS navigation systems efficiently for route planning and navigation.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for commercial trucking.
- Experience in load & unload procedures, truck loading/unloading processes, and logistics cargo handling.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with all traffic laws.
- Ability to handle hazardous or dangerous goods safely and responsibly when required.

Pay: $27.92 - $29.25 per hour
