Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service quality, and fostering a positive work environment. Duties
- Assist the General Manager in managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Oversee team management by providing leadership and support to staff members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and effective problem resolution.
- Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to financial policies.
- Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the quick service fast food restaurant or fine dining industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Experience in training development with a focus on enhancing employee performance.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
