Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious CDL A Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, the Driver (Class A) will provide excellent service as it relates to the delivery, storage, and merchandising of products in assigned accounts. Maintain responsibility for safe truck operation and the return of all money, unsold product, empties, and pallets, while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, cargo handling, and route navigation will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated OTR routes, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized carriers for hazardous materials.
- Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency while maintaining compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
- Load and unload freight accurately, handling logistics cargo with care to prevent damage or safety hazards.
- Deliver freight to retail locations or distribution centers, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record by practicing safe driving techniques and adhering to all DOT and hazardous materials regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before departure.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or safety concerns.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or hazardous materials (Hazmat).
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and hazardous materials handling procedures.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and navigation.
- Strong manual handling skills for loading/unloading freight safely.
- Delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and logistics cargo handling.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive safety mindset.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
