The Assistant Director of Infection Control will assist the Director of Infection Prevention and Control, in collaboration with the Hospital Epidemiologist, in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital-wide surveillance and infection prevention program. They will also support managers, staff, physicians and other members of the healthcare team in addressing infection control issues.
We require:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Microbiology, Health Sciences, Public Health
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Health Sciences, Public Health preferred
- 3–5 years of Infection Preventionist experience preferred
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Proficient in English communication, computer applications, and healthcare-related software technologies
- Demonstrated analytical, report writing, and data presentation skills with experience in program/project management
