Our client in Marlboro, MA is looking to bring on a CAD Drafter. This role is onsite and is a tempt to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Solidworks.
- Create comprehensive construction detail documentation that aligns with project specifications and building code compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce accurate schematics, system designs, and interior layouts.
- Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools to enhance project coordination and facilitate seamless integration of design elements across disciplines.
- Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs adhere to local regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in the development of graphic design elements for presentation materials and project proposals.
- Support the review of design drafts for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to client specifications while managing multiple revisions efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience in CAD drafting within architecture, engineering, or construction environments.
- Strong proficiency with CAD and Solidworks
- Hands-on experience with construction detail documentation and building code analysis.
Pay: $32.00 - $39.00 per hour
