Job Summary
Ship Done Right is seeking reliable 1099/Contract, White Glove Furniture Delivery /Assembler and Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture to various locations ensuring timely and safe delivery. Must have your own tools.
**This role requires flexibility as there will be up to 50% overnight travel to surrounding areas. Customer service skills and the ability to operate a 26ft box truck. All Contractors play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient delivery services.
Routes are Tues -Sat.
Box trucks with liftgates as well as fuel cards are provided by company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overnight travel
- Heavy lifting
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload high end miscellaneous home furnishings , ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transport.
- White glove assembly of furniture w/out damaging products
- Proper documentation of each delivery in the mobile app
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with customers regarding delivery times and addressing any concerns.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing delivery schedules and documentation.
- Experience in furniture assembly, delivery & driving are REQUIRED. Must have tools to complete daily routes efficiently.
Requirements
- Drivers must have a valid Star drivers license.
- Drivers will maintain an active DOT.
- Applicants will be required to complete and pass a background check.
- Applicants must pass a pre-hire drug screening.
